BeamOne Announces Ohio Service Center Expansion
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – BeamOne LLC announces the expansion of its Lima, Ohio Service Center which will result in an increase to the warehouse area of 45%. This improvement to the Ohio facility emphasizes BeamOne’s strategic commitment to superior customer service, quality processing, and rapid product turnaround time.
In addition to expansion of the pre-sterilization area, the facility improvement project will also provide an enhanced special handling / testing set-up area and additional refrigeration storage capability for temperature sensitive products.
According to Glenn Thibault, BeamOne’s President and CEO, “We are very proud to announce this upgrade for our Ohio plant. Since joining the BeamOne family of service centers, Lima has been operating at near capacity due to the support of our extremely loyal customer base. The additional space resulting from the expansion effort will allow better product handling by providing easier access to inbound and outbound shipments. Our customers should see an immediate benefit from the improved work flow in the warehouse.”
The construction effort is already under way in Lima, and no interruption in service or plant availability is expected during the build period. Project completion is anticipated to be mid-September.
